We are situated next to St Johns church in the centre of town (adjacent to the railway station).  This makes The Mitre the perfect venue for hosting your wedding reception, holding a business meeting or just having a celebration.

We have a large separate function room which can be set-up to suit your specific requirements. The room is equally suited for small wedding parties or business meetings and being close to the Lounge Bar, refreshments are always on hand.

When not in use, the Brasserie Restaurant is also available for function hire. Here we can offer tailor-made buffets, bespoke functions and guarantee privacy for your gathering.
